Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer Arthur Lopez is a former Deputy Chief in the Los Angeles Police Department, and a former Chief of Police in Oxnard, California. During his 28 year tenure in the Los Angeles Police Department, Chief Lopez either directly commanded or oversaw the investigative function of various units within a police department of over 8000 employees. As a Commander, Chief Lopez was in charge of the investigative activities of South Bureau Homicide Division, where he had the distinction of raising the clearance rate of homicides from 50% to well over 80%. As a Lieutenant, Chief Lopez was the Commanding Officer of Hollywood Vice (responsible for vice investigations including prostitution, gambling, and Alcoholic Beverage Control violations). Chief Lopez also spent approximately four years as a narcotics detective, and approximately two years as a Sergeant investigating gang crimes, narcotics, and aggravated assaults. During his six-year tenure at the Oxnard Police Department, Chief Lopez was instrumental in managing the Detective Division, including the reorganization of the division to assimilate information between the homicide, gang, and narcotics detectives. Chief Lopez's management and reorganization of the Detective Division helped produce a significant decrease in gang activity and gang crime. Mr. Lopez graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with his Bachelor degree in Public Administration. Mr. Lopez went on to Cal Polytechnic University of Pomona where he received his Masters in Management.

Vice President

Vice President Kenneth Hillman is a former Captain with the Los Angeles Police Department. During his 29-year tenure, Mr. Hillman managed the investigative functions of various divisions within the Los Angeles Police Department. As Commanding Officer of the Pacific Area, Operations-Support Division, Mr. Hillman supervised 49 sworn detectives and 8 civilian personnel and managed all detective operations and investigations, including cold-case homicide and rape cases. As Commanding Officer, Central Detectives, Mr. Hillman managed a cadre that included 54 sworn and 8 civilian personnel with an annual operating budget of $6 million. As Assistant Officer-in-Charge, Traffic Coordination Section, one of Mr. Hillman'€™s primary duties was the direct supervision of the Specialized Collision Investigation Detail, which investigated all City liability collisions, high-profile collision investigations, and collisions involving multiple deaths or serious injuries. Earlier in his career Mr. Hillman worked as a detective and detective trainee investigating burglary, larceny, grand theft, and juvenile homicide cases. Mr. Hillman graduated from the Union Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio with a Bachelor in Public Administration. Mr. Hillman went on to California State University at Dominguez Hills where he graduated with his Masters in Negotiation and Conflict Management.

Senior Staff Investigator

NASI Senior Staff Investigator Doug Iversen was an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department for over 18 years. During that time he not only conducted general law enforcement activities, but specialized in traffic collision investigations to include his membership on the Specialized Collision Investigation Team, a unit that conducted extremely detailed investigations of City liability, high profile, and police-vehicle-involved, collisions. He also qualified as an expert in traffic collision investigation and Driving Under the Influence (DUI) investigations by the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Mr. Iversen has been providing investigative services in the private sector since 1992 specializing in complex investigations of interstate cargo theft, workers' compensation fraud, and general & auto liability claims. For four years, Mr. Iversen headed the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) for a firm contracted to investigate all bus and rail incidents for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA). Mr. Iversen has also supervised workers compensation investigations on behalf of Disney, United Airlines, Waste Management, United Parcel Services, and other large corporate clients.

Director of Operations and Qualified Manager

Isidro Lopez is the Director of Operations and Qualified Manager for North American Security and Investigations, Inc. Isidro supervises payroll, invoicing and human resources operations for the company.
Isidro graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a major in Political Science. He previously worked in the insurance industry, where he completed two separate degrees of distinction, which were a LPCS (Legal Principles Claim Specialist) and a CCLA (Casualty Claim Law Associate). He is an active volunteer in several Ventura County non-profit organizations. Mr. Lopez graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor in Political Science.
